Birthday Paradox Simulator
Calculate the probability that at least two people share a birthday in a group.
How It Works
This tool runs a Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the probability. Here’s the process:
- An “experiment” consists of creating a group of the size you specified.
- Each person in the group is assigned a random birthday (from 1 to 365).
- We then check if any two or more people in that group share a birthday. If they do, the experiment is a “success”.
- This entire experiment is repeated 1,000 times to ensure a reliable result.
- The final probability is the number of successful experiments divided by the total number of trials (1000).
